Liz Gillies

Liz Gillies is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning various sectors, including academia and social impact initiatives.

She played a pivotal role in establishing the Asia Pacific Social Impact Centre (APSIC) and The Centre for Ethical Leadership during her tenure at the Melbourne Business School.

As the CEO of the Menzies Foundation, Liz focused on supporting Australian entrepreneurship in science and technology, school leadership, and addressing complex legal global issues.

Liz holds the position of Honorary (Fellow) at the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Melbourne, showcasing her commitment to academia and research.

Apart from her philanthropic endeavors, Liz is also involved in the business world as the Director and Co-Founder of the fashion styling portal Elvie & Leo and the Founder of Yal Yal Estate, a vineyard in the Mornington Peninsula.

Her extensive governance experience includes serving on the boards of various organizations such as the Public Galleries Association of Victoria, Social Firms Australia, Uniting Care Community Options, and United Way Australia. Currently, she contributes to the Development Committee of the Towards a Just Society Foundation.
