Lisa Tatum Brown, MS, CEM is an experienced emergency management professional with over 13 years of expertise in leading and supporting volunteer-based teams for creating and implementing strategies to stay prepared for responding to and recovering from disasters. She studied Master of Arts in Emergency Management and Homeland Security at Arizona State University after completing her BA in English at Oklahoma State University. Apart from this, Lisa has also completed the Dallas County Management and Leadership Academy in 2020. She has served as the Planning Section Chief at Dallas County, Senior Manager for Disaster Preparedness at VolunteerNow (USA), Program Developer and Coordinator at Student Conservation Association, Program Director at Trinity River Mission, AmeriCorps Preparedness Specialist at American Red Cross, Disaster Specialist, Logistics at American Red Cross, and Service Learning Coordinator and Team Leader at AmeriCorps NCCC.
