Lisa Nitze is a highly experienced professional with over 35 years of leadership in various organizations and initiatives focused on sustainable social systems change and maximizing social impact.
Currently, Lisa holds the position of V.P., Marketing, Investment, Community Partnerships at Nitze-Stagen, an integrated commercial real estate investment and property management company in Seattle. The company is dedicated to placemaking, community-building, and enhancing thriving communities through the management of historic properties like the Starbucks Center.
With a background as the CEO of Social Venture Partners Seattle, Lisa engaged and educated philanthropists on making investments in social enterprises and collective impact initiatives.
During her time as Managing Director at Mission Measurement LLC, Lisa provided expert advice on measurement, evaluation, and reporting of social impact to leading organizations across various sectors.
Lisa has a rich history of establishing cross-sector partnerships, including statewide economic development initiatives in New Jersey and Maryland, as well as a national partnership for the restoration of Ellis Island.
Her previous roles include being the CEO of the U.S. Social Enterprise Alliance and serving as a Speaker Specialist for the U.S. State Department on social entrepreneurship. Additionally, as the V.P. of Global Engagement at Ashoka, she collaborated with corporations, foundations, and philanthropists to invest in social enterprises globally.
Lisa Nitze's educational background includes an MBA in Non-Profit Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Government from Harvard University.
As a board member of various organizations such as Seattle SODO BIA, Downtown Seattle Assn., Historic Seattle Foundation, KUOW Public Radio, and others, Lisa is actively involved in community development and engagement initiatives.
