Lionel Johnson is a highly experienced and accomplished leader in the fields of international business, public policy, and sustainable development. With years of experience in recommending and implementing strategies in challenging environments, Lionel is a results-oriented problem solver who is adept at mobilizing teams to achieve organizational objectives. Notable accomplishments during his extensive career include serving as Assistant to three US Secretaries of State, working with US regulatory agencies, multilateral institutions and having strong bipartisan relationships at all levels of the US legislative and executive branches.

Lionel has an extensive educational background having studied Political Science at Rutgers University. Over the years, he has gained broad diplomatic skills, which make him a potent advocate for the organizations he works for.

Lionel is currently the President at Pacific Pension & Investment Institute (PPI) and has served in various other leadership roles, including Senior Vice President at Initiative for Global Development, Vice President, Turkey, Middle East and North Africa Affairs at United States Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Development, Debt, and Environment Policy at US Department of the Treasury, and many others.
