Linda Kasonde

Linda Kasonde is a prominent legal professional known for being one of the first and youngest female practitioners to attain partner status and the first woman named partner in a top-ranking law firm in Zambia.

Currently serving as the Executive Director of Chapter One Foundation Limited, an NGO focused on upholding the Constitution, human rights, and the rule of law.

Linda was elected as the first female President of the Law Association of Zambia, where she showcased her expertise in civil rights advocacy, commercial litigation, corporate advisory, constitutional law, human rights, governance promotion, and legal writing.

Her educational background includes studies at renowned institutions such as Harvard University, Stanford University, University of Cape Town, and University of Leicester.

She has actively contributed to various organizations and initiatives, including LCK Chambers, Chapter One Foundation Limited, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, and Mulenga Mundashi Kasonde Legal Practitioners.

Linda's interests span across leadership, human rights, teaching, mentorship, gender mainstreaming, public speaking, and writing.
