Currently pursuing a PhD in Geography at Penn State University under the guidance of Dr. Bronwen Powell, Lilly has a rich academic background blending natural and social sciences. With previous affiliations with renowned organizations like the World Agroforestry Centre, Food and Agriculture Organization, Seed4Change, and the ClimAlt Project, Lilly brings a wealth of experience to her research endeavors. Prior to her academic pursuits, Lilly co-founded a grassroots initiative in northern Thailand focused on transforming chemical monoculture into a sustainable food forest using permaculture principles, sparking a profound interest in soil health and permaculture education.
