Arash Khoshkbar Sadigh, Ph.D.

Arash Sadigh is a highly knowledgeable power electronics engineer with experience in switched mode power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC, AC-DC, and DC-AC circuits, digital control, and DSP programming. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where he also worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant. He has also worked as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Extron Electronics and as a Design Engineer of Overhead and Underground Transmission and Distribution Lines at a consultant engineering company called Aran Nagsh Ara (ANA Co.). Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Penn State University where he shares his expertise with his students. Arash has extensively used power electronics in various applications such as UPS, Grid Tied Inverter (GTI), Active Power Filter (APF), Motor Drive, Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR), FACTS, and HVDC. Renewable energy systems and power quality are also among his areas of interest.
