Lillian Rosenthal
Graphic Design Teacher and GSA Liaison at Oakland International High School
Lillian Rosenthal is an accomplished educator with a diverse academic background. She holds a Master's degree in Social Studies Teacher Education from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from University of California, Berkeley. In addition to her formal education, Lillian has also studied abroad at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, focusing on Spanish Literature and Art History, as well as specialized courses in Spanish Baroque Art and Literature. Prior to her teaching career, Lillian attended Berkeley High School.
Lillian has held various teaching positions at different educational institutions. She has served as a Graphic Design Teacher and GSA Liaison at Oakland International High School, taught Newcomer Social Science and led the History Department at Castlemont High School, and worked as a Gradute Teaching Fellow at the Blanton Museum of Art. She has also gained experience as a Student Teacher of ESL Social Studies at Akins High School and as a Teacher Intern in Social Studies at Round Rock High School and ESL Social Studies at Akins High School. Furthermore, Lillian has contributed to educational programs like Breakthrough New York and conducted research as a Research Apprentice at the University of California, Berkeley.
