Meet Jennifer Hackney, a talented artist and educator with a background in Theatre Set Design and Decorative Arts and Design History. With an eye for detail and a passion for creativity, Jennifer has worked with various organizations in the production industry, including Comedy Central, BET, and AMC Networks. She has also interned at The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Jennifer currently works as a material culture educator at The Mariners' Museum and Park and teaches art history at Governor's School for the Arts.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked as a set decorator, art department coordinator, and buyer for several television series and films such as Halt and Catch Fire, Office Christmas Party, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Her experience in production has given her a strong understanding of how to balance creativity with practicality, consistently delivering high-quality results. She is a versatile artist who can turn her hand to a variety of tasks, from research and coordination to design and fabrication.
