Liam Brennan is a dedicated research engineer with a strong background in management and technical expertise, specializing in the development and implementation of innovative ideas in the physical sciences.

As the Head of Technology Transfer at the Science and Technology Facilities Research Council (STFC), Liam leads a team focused on protecting and leveraging inventions and opportunities originating from STFC's national laboratories, resulting in patents, new spin-out companies, and commercial licenses.

With a diverse educational background including a Ph.D. and Bachelor's Degree from University College Dublin, Liam's skill set encompasses engineering, business start-up, development, innovation management, project management, and technology transfer in both the UK and Ireland.
