Who is Leehe Skuler?
Leehe Skuler is an impact and climate investing professional who has been working in the field since 2009. She is the co-founder of the Global Impact Tech Alliance (GITA), an organization that aims to connect and empower the global impact tech ecosystem while increasing global venture capital for impact.1
Skuler currently leads efforts to create nature-based, regenerative financing instruments and blue carbon solutions. Previously, she worked as an investor and consultant to global pioneer climate finance organizations such as the UNDP, AfDB, and EIB to support innovative global climate finance solutions.1
Skuler believes that FoodTech can be a major route to achieving impact, as the food sector holds incredible weight on the global climate, health, and social justice. She argues that any responsible tech innovation directed toward the food markets must acknowledge, model and aim to maximize its positive impact.1
Skuler's professional path has been shaped by her experiences living in many different countries and cultures. This has given her a global perspective and the ability to feel comfortable in any location. She realized early on that addressing the climate crisis would be the focus of her professional and intellectual life.1
