Lee-Sean Huang is a Taiwanese American designer, artist, and educator who has made significant contributions in the field of design and social innovation.
Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Lee-Sean grew up in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area and now divides his time between Providence, Rhode Island, and New York City.
In 2013, he co-founded Foossa, a service design and strategy practice, where he has worked with diverse communities and organizations globally to tackle social innovation challenges.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard College and a Master of Professional Studies in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Lee-Sean has a strong educational background.
Lee-Sean's expertise extends to teaching design, innovation, and storytelling at prestigious institutions like New York University, Emerson College, and Parsons School of Design.
He currently holds the position of Senior Director of Learning and Programs at AIGA, the largest professional association for design in the United States, showcasing his leadership in the design industry.
Beyond his professional roles, Lee-Sean is an accomplished artist with a focus on street photography and environmental portraiture, stemming from his ethnographic research and documentation practices.
With a wide array of experiences, from Capoeira teaching to consultancy at the United Nations, Lee-Sean has a diverse professional background that enriches his design and educational pursuits.
