Leana Santos

Leana Santos is a seasoned professional with a strong background in marketing, communications, public relations, and entertainment, spanning over a decade. Her journey in the industry began in 2010, starting with work at prominent electronic music events in Western Canada.

In 2014, Leana relocated to Los Angeles for an internship at Lionsgate, a leading film studio in Santa Monica, California. During her time there, she was involved in international marketing and promotions for The Hunger Games franchise, one of Hollywood's most successful series.

Upon returning to Edmonton, Alberta, Leana co-founded Unity Events Canada with her business partner. This endeavor stemmed from their shared passion for organizing unique conventions and supporting fellow entrepreneurs in their ventures.

Apart from her professional pursuits, Leana remains committed to continuous learning and personal development, frequently attending conferences and avidly reading works by renowned authors such as John C. Maxwell, Dale Carnegie, and Simon Sinek.

Leana's educational background includes a High School Diploma from Archbishop MacDonald High School, a Diploma in Public Relations, and General Studies from MacEwan University, along with additional coursework in the School of Continuing Education at the same institution.

Currently, Leana Santos holds the role of Marketing Manager at Events Edmonton, where she continues to leverage her expertise and passion for creating impactful marketing strategies and engaging with diverse audiences.
