Lauren Taylor
Principal at REDF
Lauren Taylor is a Senior Program Manager for the Accelerator at REDF, where she oversees cohort learning and curriculum delivery for employment social enterprises. She joined REDF in November 2020 and has played a pivotal role in managing the Accelerator program, which is designed to support social enterprise leaders in their growth journeys.12
Before her tenure at REDF, Lauren founded Zero Gravity, a consulting agency that assists mission-driven startups at various stages of growth, including launch and scaling.12 She has a strong background in education and workforce development, having previously served as the Senior Education Manager at the Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) and as the Technology Coordinator for the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development. Her work in these roles was recognized by the Obama administration for its impact on tech education for underserved youth.12
Lauren holds multiple degrees: an MFA in Social Practice from California College of the Arts (CCA), a Master's in Education from Portland State University, and a BFA from Tufts University.12 In addition to her work at REDF, she is actively involved in various nonprofit organizations that promote entrepreneurship in underserved communities, including the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and SCORE.org.12
