She pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Miami, showcasing her initial commitment to the aquatic realm.

Building on her undergraduate studies, Lauren went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University at Galveston, further solidifying her expertise in the field.

Throughout her career, Lauren has been actively involved in various organizations and roles, demonstrating her passion for marine conservation and research.
