Lauren Lyons is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in the space industry. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University, with certificates in Robotics & Intelligent Systems and Engineering Biology, as well as a master's degree in Business and Government Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.13

At SpaceX, Lauren worked as a Mission Integration and Systems Certification Engineer for the Dragon 2 spacecraft, focusing on NASA crew missions to the International Space Station.4 Her responsibilities included risk and change management, leading anomaly investigations, serving as the on-console mission safety official, and leading the NASA Certification Engineering effort for Crew Dragon's first visit to the Space Station.1
