Dr. Laura A. Paul is a Research Agricultural Economist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service, specializing in the Resource and Rural Economic Division's Rural Economy Branch.

She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, an M.A. in Economics from Duke University, and an A.B. in Economics from Kenyon College, showcasing a strong educational background in economic studies.
