Laura Mueller-Soppart is a professional deeply passionate about the intersection of design, technology, policy, and culture within urban settings. With a diverse background spanning real estate development, operations & marketing strategy, and innovation strategy, Laura currently holds the role of founding Program Director at the national nonprofit Centri Tech Foundation. Prior to this, she served as the Entrepreneur in Residence and Head of Product at Six Peak Capital, a firm specializing in urban housing development.
Laura is renowned as the Founder of Built Interest, an innovative real estate development company focused on leveraging the shared economy in the built environment. She has successfully spearheaded the creation of numerous concepts within the firm, leading to remarkable achievements such as the acquisition of Assembly Chef's Hall in Toronto, the first food hall of its kind to be acquired.
In 2014, Laura transitioned to Two Trees, a prominent Brooklyn-based real estate developer known for its community-focused developments along the East River waterfront. Starting as a special project manager, Laura quickly ascended to the position of Marketing Director, Portfolio at Large, showcasing her versatile skill set and strategic acumen in the industry.
Her impressive academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Political Science, earned summa cum laude from Northeastern University. Laura's commitment to education is also reflected in her earlier studies at Walter Payton College Prep.
Throughout her career, Laura has held various roles at esteemed organizations such as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, MacArthur Foundation, and The White House, where she served as a Trustee Scholar at Northeastern University. Her professional journey encompasses experiences in social enterprise, policy development, and administration, underscoring her multifaceted expertise in diverse environments.
