Laura Camarut is an energy and climate policy enthusiast currently serving in the Southeast Europe team of IRENA (International Renewable Energy Agency) in Abu Dhabi. As a Fall '20 Energy Policy Group Fellow, she concentrates on the energy sector's evolution amidst growing sustainability concerns. Laura holds a Master's degree in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po, specializing in International Energy and European Studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Bucharest. Her professional background spans multinational corporations, NGOs, and the public sector, showcasing adaptability in diverse and fast-paced environments. She is proficient in English, French, and Spanish, in addition to her native Romanian.
Laura's key interests revolve around climate and energy policy, corporate social responsibility (CSR) with a focus on sustainability, European affairs, communications, and public affairs.
