    Lance Mathena

President at North American Association of Blind Sportsmen

Lance Mathena is the President of the North American Association of Blind Sportsmen, a Christian 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the blind and visually impaired community by encouraging them to partake in outdoor adventures.

The organization, run by the blind for the benefit of the blind, aims to foster community, build confidence, self-esteem, and instill hope among America's visually impaired individuals.

Under Lance's leadership, the Association produces a TV show called Adaptive Pursuits, which airs on the Sportsman channel. This show highlights the abilities and accomplishments of its members, showcasing their talents and resilience in the face of challenges.

A unique aspect of the organization is that members are not required to pay for these outdoor adventures, as all proceeds from the TV show directly fund more opportunities for the members.

Aside from his role at the North American Association of Blind Sportsmen, Lance Mathena previously served as a Contract Database Administrator at the Department of Defense within Fort Sill Apache Industries, LLC.
