    Kyriacos Koupparis, PhD, brings over a decade of experience in driving positive change and fostering better communities in developing economies through the convergence of science, technology, innovation, and corporate collaborations. With a keen focus on science and technology policy and innovation initiatives, he advocates for global progress in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. Kyriacos has a vast on-the-ground exposure in more than 15 countries spanning Latin America, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia.

    His educational journey includes pursuing a Management of Technology Certificate from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a remarkable GPA of 3.97 from Wayne State University.

    Kyriacos Koupparis's impressive career includes serving as the Head of Frontier Innovations at the WFP Innovation Accelerator under the World Food Programme. He has also contributed his expertise as the Global Talent at UNLEASH, an innovation lab dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, Kyriacos has held key roles as the Senior Science, Technology & Innovation Advisor at USAID in Asia and the Middle East, as well as positions at the U.S. Department of State and the Institute for International Education. His early career also involved a marketing internship at the Technology Transfer Office of the Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute.
