Kyle Kattke

Kyle Kattke is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for renewable energy and energy efficiency. With a solid educational background, including a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Kyle has honed his skills in modeling thermal-fluid interactions of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell systems and developing Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants.

During his tenure at Abengoa Solar, Kyle played a pivotal role in modeling the physics of components and systems to optimize plant performance and minimize project costs. His expertise extends to managing technical proposals for customers and leveraging his knowledge of thermal energy systems, performance modeling, solar resource assessment, and utility rate structures to enhance renewable energy and energy efficiency systems.

Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Solar Dynamics LLC, Kyle brings a wealth of experience from his past roles as an Application Engineer and Performance Engineer at RES (Renewable Energy Systems Ltd) and Abengoa Solar, respectively.
