Kyle Bishop

Meet Kyle Bishop, a seasoned and accomplished entrepreneur in the legal cannabis industry with over 20 years of experience in Colorado, including extensive work as a business owner and consultant since 2010. Currently serving as the COO and co-owner of Northeast Alternatives, a fast-growing dispensary and cultivation chain in Massachusetts, Bishop has also launched PUUR Solutions, a cannabis purification business focusing on sterilization and remediation of products. Northeast Alternatives recently opened as the 7th adult-use retail store and grow operation in the state, with a new 100,000 square foot indoor grow that is remarkably efficient, utilizing 100% on-site Co-gen natural gas power.

Bishop and his team have won several accolades over the years, including their first award in the "Sativa" category at the 2011 Cannabis Cup, and multiple cups as they grew over tens of thousands of pounds of cannabis per year in their "Mothership" facility. What's remarkable is that Bishop and his partner, Zac Cooper, accomplished all this while remaining fully compliant and OSHA approved.

As a co-owner and COO of Northeast Alternatives, Bishop focuses on cultivation, sourcing, marketing, R&D, operations, innovation, and product packaging/development, among other responsibilities. He has also recently expanded into the retail world and created new innovative products for the Massachusetts market. Bishop studied at Fort Lewis College, where he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Anthropology (Ethnobotany)/Finance. He also founded and owned Kine Consulting before joining Northeast Alternatives and launching PUUR Solutions.
