Kurt de Vries is a seasoned business development professional with over 12 years of international experience in South Korea. He is a Trade Commissioner who specializes in the automotive sector in the Ontario region. Kurt is fluent in Korean and has a broad network of contacts in over 160 countries. His focus is on facilitating trade, investment, and innovation with leading global markets such as Germany, the US, Mexico, Japan, India, and China. Kurt is an expert in international business development, economic development, health and safety, management, and purchasing. He is a former CEO of Canada Holdings Korea Inc. and has also held leadership roles in several other organizations. Kurt completed his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History with a concentration in International Studies at Brock University, in addition to studying Politics & History at Keele University and getting a Certificate of Teaching English as a Subsequent Language (CTESL) in Applied Linguistics from Brock University.
