Kristin Whitney

Kristin Whitney is a highly accomplished strategic communications leader with a diverse professional background spanning over 17 years of experience. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism from Marylhurst University, Kristin has worked for organizations of all sizes, from start-ups to non-profit entities and Fortune 500 firms. Kristin has a deep knowledge of the public relations, community relations, media and partnerships, and corporate communications fields, with a focus on cross-functional leadership, stakeholder relationship building, and fiscal management. Her reputation for thought leadership and a successful track record of delivering meaningful results that support business objectives and deepen institutional understanding has made her a respected figure in the industry.

In her current role as Public Relations Strategist at Legacy Health, Kristin leads the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives across the organization. She also previously served as Public Relations Liaison for the Unity Center for Behavioral Health, where she was responsible for building relationships with media, stakeholders, and community partners. Kristin's prior experience includes senior communications director at Blu Print Public Relations, program director of communications at Ant Hill Marketing, account manager at Waggener Edstrom, broadcast coordinator at Western International Media, and assistant teacher at Kellogg Middle School.

As an individual committed to community involvement, Kristin has also served as a Child Treatment Specialist III at Waverly Children's Home, an educational assistant in the Department of Special Education at Portland Public Schools, and has been actively involved in volunteer efforts.
