Kristin Jones is a highly accomplished entertainment executive with extensive expertise in business development and creative strategy in the film, television, and digital media industries. Throughout her career, she has held numerous key positions at notable companies such as AMC Networks, Miramax Films, Vuguru LLC, Buena Vista International, and INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE MANAGEMENT.
As EVP of AMC Networks, Sundance Now, and Acorn TV, Jones oversaw the development, production, and acquisition of domestic, international, and streaming content. Her extensive programming and content strategies resulted in multiple Golden Globe and Emmy wins for AMC Networks. She also served as a Business Development Consultant at Pluto TV, where she provided guidance and insights on domestic and international programming.
Prior to this, Jones held the position of Chief Creative Officer at Vuguru LLC, where she was responsible for developing and producing digital content across multiple platforms. As Senior Vice President of International Development, Production, and Acquisitions at Miramax Films, she oversaw the acquisition and production of international and domestic films. She also served as VP Production and European Acquisitions at Buena Vista International, where she was responsible for acquiring and developing foreign language films for distribution in the US.
