Prior to establishing Laurel, Kourosh held the position of VP of Business Development at Bailard, Inc., where his exposure to FinTech sparked his interest in leveraging technology for transforming professional service industries.
Kourosh is an alumnus of University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, in addition to a B.S. in Business Administration from the same institution.
Outside his professional endeavors, Kourosh founded the non-profit organization Young Professionals of San Francisco (YPOSF) in 2010, which has grown to engage over 8,000 members. He also finds joy in exploring the Pacific Northwest and unwinding at his log cabin retreat with his family.
