Kori Blankenship

Kori Blankenship is a well-educated professional in the field of Geography, holding both Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Western Washington University.

With a diverse background in various organizations, Kori has gained valuable experience in different roles related to ecology, geography, and forestry.

Currently, Kori holds the position of Fire Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy, bringing expertise in fire sciences and ecological systems to the organization.

Previously, Kori worked as a Geographer at USDA Forest Service, Missoula Fire Sciences Lab, contributing to the study and analysis of geographical information for forestry purposes.

Kori has also served as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Western Washington University, showcasing a dedication to both academic research and educational support.

With experience as a Wildland Firefighter at USDA Forest Service & National Park Service, Kori has practical knowledge of fire management and emergency response in natural settings.

Having worked as a Forestry Technician at the U.S. Forest Service, Kori has hands-on experience in forest management and conservation practices.
