Amy Fan
Immunology Postdoc at UCSF
Amy Fan is an accomplished biologist and researcher who specializes in cancer biology, stem cell biology, and immunology. With a Ph.D. in Immunology from Stanford University, Amy has an extensive background in transcriptional regulation, hematopoiesis, myeloid cells, and cancer stem cells (CSCs). She has conducted research in several renowned labs and organizations, including Ravi Majeti's Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine, Broad Institute, and Tsinghua University, to name a few. Amy is also dedicated to science education and inclusivity and has a keen interest in mentorship and advocacy. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has worked as an intern for the US Department of Health and Human Services and served as a teaching assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is currently working on building two new graduate-level courses at Stanford University and working to mitigate bias in Stanford Biosciences's graduate admissions process.
