Dr. Kizito Njah, a Ph.D. graduate of Nanyang Technological University, has a strong background in cancer biology with a focus on the extracellular matrix protein Agrin and its role in liver tumorigenesis and cancer progression. During research at IMCB, A-STAR, Dr. Njah identified how Agrin enhances tumor angiogenesis, shedding light on its contribution to cancer progression. Dr. Njah's current interests lie in molecular biomarkers for early cancer detection and targeted treatments. With a Bachelor of Science in Medical Bioscience from the University of the Western Cape, Dr. Njah has a solid academic foundation combined with research experience at prestigious institutions like Sinai Health System and A*STAR.
