Social Worker
Kira Brandt is a dedicated Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2012.
She has been an integral part of JewishCare NSW since 2013, where she has served as a Caseworker focusing on Youth Wellbeing, demonstrating her commitment to helping individuals through challenging times.
During 2017, Kira immersed herself in Israel by residing in Tel Aviv for a year, showcasing her strong connection to the country.
Passionate about fostering a resilient Jewish Community, Kira has been actively involved in coordinating mentoring programs for young people, organizing educational seminars for parents, and implementing preventive programs like Love Bites to address domestic violence and sexual assault in schools.
Beyond her professional roles, Kira extends her support by volunteering with philanthropic organizations such as WIZO NSW, where she also served as a Board Observer in 2021. She further assumed the role of Chair for WIZO Chai, a group dedicated to empowering and uplifting the community.
Kira's enthusiasm for making a positive impact is evident through her various involvements and her continuous efforts to build a stronger community for current and future generations.
