Kim Fischer is a hard-working, loyal, and dedicated individual with a passion for storytelling and community service.

With 16 years of experience in journalism, Kim has honed her skills as a writer and storyteller, now serving as the Vice President of Communication at Waterford.org, an educational nonprofit focused on achieving universal literacy for children.

Waterford.org empowers parents as a child's first teachers and supports teachers in making impactful decisions for their students. The organization currently benefits over 300,000 children across 43 states annually.

In addition to her professional role, Kim has ventured into public speaking, sharing her personal story to inspire others to overcome trauma, emphasizing the importance of consent and offering media interaction consultation services for businesses.

Kim's educational background includes a B.A.S. in Radio, TV, Film from the University of North Texas, along with general studies at I.H. Kempner High School.

Her career spans across various roles, including being a national spokesperson, speaker at organizations like the Utah Office for Victims of Crime and Utah Prosecution Council, and holding positions in media outlets such as KTVX ABC 4 Utah, NBCUniversal Media, LLC, and WOAI-TV.
