He was the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Performance for San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, where he managed initiatives related to education, workforce development, and performance management. Additionally, he has experience in corporate social responsibility roles at Cisco Systems and Kaiser Permanente.124

Russo's educational background includes a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University. He is also a Coro Public Affairs Fellow, reflecting his commitment to public service and community engagement.14
