Khairol Amin

Khairol Amin is a seasoned network and systems software developer with over 30 years of experience. He has a rich history of programming in assembly languages for various devices ranging from embedded PCs to network infrastructure. Mr. Amin's research interests center on reverse engineering x86 and buffer overflow/stack overflow vulnerabilities. He has been involved in various academic-related activities, including serving as a member of the Malaysian Polytechnic Diploma in IT Curriculum Reviewer, Industry Advisory Panel for Bachelor in Software Engineering, and Board of Studies for Bachelor in IT.

Mr. Amin boasts an impressive educational background, starting from his certification in Computer Engineering from Informatics College to his Bachelor's degree in Library Science from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He also holds a Master's degree in Computing Science from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

Khairol Amin has worked in various capacities, including Application Analyst, Network Analyst, and Cataloger, and has held leadership roles such as Lead Middleware Researcher/Developer/VP of Applied R&D at HeiTech Padu Berhad. He is currently a Technical Consultant with the same company.
