Karen Krahulik

Karen Krahulik is an academic administrator currently serving as the Associate Dean at Brown University. Her career has been marked by significant roles in higher education, including previous positions at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University and New York University, where she was involved in academic affairs and international programs.

Krahulik holds a Ph.D. in United States history from New York University and has authored a book titled Provincetown: From Pilgrim Landing to Gay Resort, which explores the historical development of Provincetown, Massachusetts, and its socio-economic dynamics related to race, gender, class, and immigration. She also has a background in gender studies and oral history, contributing numerous articles to these fields.

Before her current role at Brown University, she was the Director of the Center for LGBT Life at Duke University and has been recognized for her work in integrating academic programs across global sites at NYU. Krahulik is a Princeton alumna, where she earned her bachelor's degree in religion and was an accomplished athlete, serving as captain of the women's swim team.12
