Kevin Tu

Kevin Tu is a Principal at DFJ Growth, a venture capital firm, where he has been since 2017. His work primarily focuses on investments in areas such as enterprise applications, infrastructure, security, open-source software, developer tools, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and frontier technologies. He has played a significant role in the firm's investments in notable companies including Aera Technology, Anduril, Armis, Cohesity, DataRobot, and OpenAI.12

Before joining DFJ Growth, Kevin held positions at J.P. Morgan in mergers and acquisitions and technology investment banking, as well as at Summit Partners as a growth investor. He has a strong technical background, having trained as a software engineer and developed products for companies like Amazon and Tinder. Kevin graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in computer science, where he was actively involved in entrepreneurship initiatives and various extracurricular activities.123
