Kevin Schoelzel, currently an MBA Candidate at the Darden School of Business, comes from Denver and has a diverse professional background.
Prior to pursuing his MBA, Kevin worked as a Strategist at Clear Creek Strategies, where he provided analytical and communications insights to public and private sector clients.
Kevin's experience includes serving as the Policy Director for Stapleton for Colorado during the 2018 Gubernatorial race, overseeing a wide range of critical issues such as rural economic development, water rights, health care, and education.
Before his venture into politics, Kevin completed the Data Science Immersion Program at General Assembly in New York City and worked as a research analyst at Gatemore Capital Management in London, catering to pension funds and high net-worth clients.
He holds a cum laude degree from Vanderbilt University with majors in Political Science, Economics & History, and a minor in Engineering Management, having also studied abroad in Europe and extensively traveled in China and Japan.
Kevin's professional history includes roles as a Portfolio Manager at Maple Creek Capital, an Investment Banking Associate at Harris Williams, an Independent Investment Consultant, and an Analyst at various financial firms like Aspen Grove Capital LLC.
Additionally, he served as an Intern in the Planning and Capital Projects Department at the Denver Zoo.
