Kevin McLaughlin

Kevin McLaughlin is a versatile individual with a rich background in the publishing industry, military service, and martial arts.

His early start in the publishing world began at age 8 when he worked for his parents' typography business and later for his mother's small press during his teens.

As his career progressed, Kevin became a senior editor for a small international trade magazine during his college years and received his first award for short fiction.

Aside from publishing, he also has diverse experiences such as running a Tae Kwon Do school for six years and serving in the active duty Army for six years, followed by six years in the Guard.

After his military service, Kevin briefly shifted his focus to continue his medical education before eventually returning to his passion for writing and publishing.

In 2011, he established his own small press, Role of the Hero Publishing, where he consistently produces and publishes new works multiple times each year.

With 36 publishing credits under various pen names, Kevin McLaughlin has made significant contributions to the literary world.

His educational background includes studies at Vermont Technical College, Norwich University, and high school.
