Jason Sussdorf

Jason Sussdorf is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in martial arts, military service, emergency medical care, and firefighting. He commenced his martial arts journey at the age of four in his father's dojo and boasts 17 years of experience in American Kenpo, Kobudo, Escrima, and kickboxing. This extensive training culminated in earning a first-degree black belt in American Kenpo and participating in various tournaments. Following the closure of his father's school, Jason dedicated a decade to teaching Kenpo and kickboxing to individuals spanning from young children to adults.
Transitioning into the military realm, Jason served the US Army for seven years, including two combat tours in Iraq as part of a special operations unit. Subsequently, he spent four years in the US Air Force Reserves as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician. Additionally, Jason pursued educational opportunities, focusing on emergency medical services and fire science. He studied EMT - Paramedic at the National College of Technical Instruction, Aeromedical Evacuation Technician and Emergency Medical Technician at the US Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and Community College of the Air Force, respectively, and Fire Science/Firefighting at American River College.
Currently, Jason is engaged as a firefighter at the Yuba City Fire Department, where he serves as a tactical medic for local agency SWAT teams. Moreover, he is the Founder and Lead Instructor at Swamp Fox Tactics, a venture established in February 2021. His expertise spans a wide array of domains, including self-defense, military tactics, emergency medical care, and firefighting.
