Kevin Jans

Kevin Jans is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and law enforcement. He began his career as an Army Medic from 1974 to 1977, providing medical support to military personnel. Transitioning into civilian roles, Kevin served as a Cook County Court Services Deputy from 1988 to 1995, where he played a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of court operations. Subsequently, he joined the Chicago Police Department in 1995 and dedicated over two decades of service as a Police Officer, upholding law and order in the city.

Kevin's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a focus on American History (United States), obtained from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, complementing his practical experiences with theoretical knowledge. Throughout his career, Kevin held diverse roles such as Field Training Officer and Patrol Officer at the Chicago Police Department, where he honed his skills in training and mentoring new recruits, as well as executing policing duties effectively.
