Kevin Healey BCAv is a prominent autism activist and the founder and chairman of the Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society (SAAS), which he established in 2007 to support adults with autism. He previously founded the North Staffordshire Asperger's & Autism Association (NSAAA) in 2001. His work focuses on advocacy for individuals with autism, raising awareness about their needs, and combating bullying, particularly cyberbullying, which he has personally experienced.123

In addition to his activism, Healey is an author; his autobiography, Twin Brothers Worlds Apart, published in 2009, recounts his experiences growing up with autism alongside his non-verbal twin brother. The book has been adapted into a short film that won several awards.13 He has also been recognized with various accolades, including the British Citizen Award for Volunteering and Charitable Giving in 2017 and Stoke-On-Trent Citizen of the Year in 2006.12
