The focus of my role within our security solutions team is to find the most innovative and novel cyber security vendors to bring into distribution. The Tech Data security team offers our partners the most advanced and strategic options for helping clients secure their businesses. Through our group we provide assessments, professional services, managed services and education solutions.

Design and delivery of IT solutions, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance to ensure the safety of client’s digital assets through comprehensive risk analysis and full-service implementation.
•	Developed and executed Strategic Plan for expansion into new market.
•	Expanded clientele to include biotechnology sector and startup community. Identified and built new business opportunities and established long-term customer relationships.
•	Gave frequent invited talks to SMBs, startup community, and tech sector stakeholders, convincing them of the value of cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and IT managed services.

•	Developed goals and strategic plan for direction of Center. Created 3-tiered program to increase revenue. Set up infrastructure. Responsible for yearly operating budget and oversight. Negotiated Intellectual Property contracts, Service Agreements, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
•	Generated new revenue stream of $600k. Brought in new industry clients for fee-for-service work and collaborations, including multiple Fortune 50, Fortune 100, and Fortune 500 corporations.
•	Championed Center’s scientific programs and research in Government. Worked with key congressional members, state and local legislators and staff to bring in funding, including multi-million-dollar grants from Dept. of Defense, U.S. Army (ARDEC), National Institutes of Health, and National Science Foundation.
•	Created 4 interdisciplinary research groups to foster more competitive grant applications, resulting in 6 new grants totaling over $500k in new funding and research programs.
•	Implemented cyber security training and protocols. Brought in speakers to cover the importance of cyber security for academia, research projects, and joint industry projects.
