Kelly Lux is an Associate Director at Communications@Syracuse focusing on Operations, Marketing, Student and Faculty Support, and Immersion Planning. She is a connector and educator passionate about higher education and student success.
Kelly played a vital role in launching the Communications@Syracuse online program in 2015, attracting over 200 students annually and collaborating with industry professionals from the Newhouse School and technology partners at 2U, Inc.
In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Kelly teaches Social Media for Communicators in the online master's program, leveraging her expertise in content strategy, social media, and educational technology.
With an educational background in Entrepreneurship, Higher Education, Information Technology, Elementary Education, and Psychology, Kelly brings a diverse skill set to her role, encompassing operations management, event planning, distance learning, and online program management.
Having held various positions at Syracuse University, including Associate Director, Course Developer, Adjunct Professor, and Director of Social Media, Kelly has a wealth of experience in online education, community management, and alumni relations.
In her former roles, Kelly served as a Freelance Writer, Co-Founder of #CMGRchat, and worked in alumni programs, student affairs, and community relations at Syracuse University and Anheuser-Busch.
