Kelindah Schuster

Kelindah Schuster is a multifaceted individual serving as the Technical Director and Lighting Designer at BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange. They are deeply engaged in the arts as a radical educator, theater-maker, and producer, with a focus on collaborative and devised theater practices.24

Schuster is also known for their drag persona, "Theydy Bedbug," through which they explore themes of gender and performance. They grew up in Singapore and Indonesia and have been active in the drag scene since moving to the U.S. in 2015. Their experiences in drag have significantly influenced their understanding of their non-binary identity.14

In addition to their technical and artistic roles, Schuster is involved in education and consulting, particularly in promoting trans inclusion within the arts.34
