Keith Turner

Keith Turner is an experienced data science lead with a strong academic and industry background in genomics, machine learning, and microbial ecology. His career goal is to drive a collaborative culture of strategic and scientific excellence in data science organizations.

He pursued his education by studying Ph.D. in Microbiology at Harvard University and obtaining a B.S. in Microbiology and Computer Science from the University of Iowa.

Keith has held key positions at renowned organizations such as Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, Microbial Genomics Lead at Bayer Crop Science and Monsanto Company, Computational Microbiologist at Monsanto Company, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.

Prior to his professional roles, he was engaged in academic and research activities, serving as a Ph.D. Candidate at Harvard Medical School, an Intern in Bioinformatics at Integrated DNA Technologies, and a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa.
