Keerthi Vemulapalli

Keerthi Vemulapalli is a dedicated medical student at George Washington University with a background in disaster relief and community service.

Having served as an External Affairs Specialist in FEMA Corps and AmeriCorps Team Leader, Keerthi has worked on disaster-related projects and assisted newly arrived refugees in the U.S.

Keerthi's educational journey includes pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, following a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Health with a remarkable 3.8 GPA from Colorado State University.

In addition to her medical studies, Keerthi has contributed her skills and expertise to various organizations. She was a Program Development Strategist at Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona, a Social Media Strategist at The Amish Entrepreneur Show, an Associate at The Mary Simms Public Relations Agency, and a Texas Family Literacy Coalition AmeriCorps Team Leader at AmeriCorps.

Furthermore, she has served as a Refugee Program Assistant at Interfaith Action of Central Texas, an External Affairs Specialist at FEMA Corps, a Corps Member at AmeriCorps NCCC, and a Research Assistant at Colorado State University.

During her free time, Keerthi indulges in her passions for dancing, yoga, and acroyoga.
