Kayla Bott

Kayla Bott is an individual with a strong educational background in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, having studied for a Bachelor of Science at The University of North Carolina at Asheville. She has diverse professional experiences, including roles in operations coordination and analysis at dmarcian, net leadership at the Big Bald Banding Station for Southern Appalachian Raptor Research, and general management at Orbit DVD. Kayla also has a history of environmental field work, having served as an Endangered Species Field Technician at Texas AgriLife Research, Texas A&M University, and as a nature expert and salesperson at Wild Birds Unlimited. Additionally, she has showcased her writing skills as an outdoors columnist and freelance journalist for The Laurel of Asheville Magazine.
