-  Respond to escalated inquiries regarding potential violations of site policies and 
related laws
-  Support Customer Operations, Product and Legal teams in connection with the company’s
international expansion efforts
-  Improve fraud detection measures, and proactively develop new Trust & Safety-related 
tools and policies
-  Provide research and analysis of current tech policy issues to Legal team

Trust & Safety Manager

- Bridge the gap between member facing teams, who experience firsthand the most difficult problems faced by our users, and product teams, who are able to build tools, products, and features to address those issues
-  Manage cross-functional teams and make sure that each contributor meets deadlines and makes progress towards the team’s goals
- Anticipate problems faced by member facing teams, members, and product teams, recognize opportunities to implement changes throughout the year, and submit proposals to the executive planning team during the annual planning process
-  Identify, assess, and minimize any liability, financial (fraud), and reputational risks in upcoming products
-  Develop proposals, timelines, and metrics for measuring the success or failure of each project (SQL)
-  Keep updated documentation for the progress, research, and launch of each Trust and Safety  project
-  Communicate with all internal stakeholders who may be affected by a project launch (through presentation, meeting or email)
-  Present Trust & Safety objectives/concerns to other internal teams, such as Product, Risk Engineering, Policy and Legal
-  Be the point person in any projects that involve the Trust & Safety team and other teams, such as company wide rotations and presentations, PR, Product, Policy, etc
-  Report to Trust and Safety managers on the outcome of the projects: what worked, what didn’t work, what could have been improved, options on where to go moving forward with team objectives

Project Manager, Trust & Safety Group

- Policy enforcement via email communication and reviews of algorithms built to catch risky behavior as well as content flagged by our community 
-  Analyze marketplace behaviors and assess trends in high risk behavior on our site (resulting in poor user experience)
-  Training material and sessions for new hires
-  Interview candidates for hire
-  Present and organize rotations for other teams at Etsy in which they work through emails and the tasks created by high risk algorithms to see firsthand the issues are users are facing
