Katy Rezvani

Dr. Katy Rezvani is a distinguished professional in the field of medical research and cancer immunotherapy.

She earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Tumor Immunology from Imperial College London, further enhancing her expertise in the field.

In addition to her PhD, Dr. Rezvani holds an MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree, equivalent to an MD, from UCL, showcasing her strong academic background.

With a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Dr. Rezvani has pursued various Fellowships and Postgraduate Training opportunities to broaden her knowledge and skills.

Dr. Rezvani currently serves as the Sally Cooper Murray Chair in Cancer Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, a prestigious position that highlights her leadership and contributions to the field.

Her previous roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center include Chief of the Section of Cellular Therapy, Professor of Medicine, demonstrating her extensive experience within the institution.

Prior to her tenure at MD Anderson, Dr. Rezvani held key positions at Hammersmith Hospital, where she served as a Reader (Associate Professor) in Hematology and as a Consultant. She also held roles as an Assistant Professor, Clinical Senior Lecturer, and Consultant at the same institution.

Dr. Rezvani's early career included a Research Fellowship funded by LRF/NHLBI in the Stem Cell Allotransplantation Section (SCAT) at The National Institutes of Health, showcasing her dedication to cutting-edge research and innovation.
