Katy Atherholt

Katy Atherholt is a talented designer with a passion for creating exceptional product experiences by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as blockchain and AI to enhance users' quality of life.

Currently, Katy is engaged in various side projects, notably The Vice Index, a platform providing weekly news and insights on vice industries.

With a rich background, Katy has held key roles in prestigious organizations such as Moss Design as a Design Partner, focusing on the future of healthcare and wellness. She has also served as a Design Lead at Two Hands, specializing in lobsters on the blockchain, and as a Product Designer at Conpago, where she worked on aged-care technology for Australia.

Katy's diverse experiences include leading creative coding programs for kids as the Head Teacher at CodeCamp Australia and contributing to web and mobile product development as a Software Developer at Relay Labs.

In terms of education, Katy has pursued a Bachelor of Arts in New Media and Communications from the University of Calgary, studied Communication and Ethics at the Department of Illusions, and obtained a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Additionally, she has studied Media and Design at QUT, Systems Science and Theory at The Open University, and completed Full Stack Web Development training at Lighthouse Labs.

Moreover, she has also contributed as a Software Development Intern at Relay Labs and served as a committee member for the Refugee Students' Program at the University of Calgary Students' Union.
